DT744 Street to create economic breakthroughs

October 16, the upgrade and expansion of DT744 Street are officially adjourned as the major street of Binh Duong Province to fulfill the traffic system to attract investment and create foundation for local economic development.

The public delight

Nguyen Van Thien at Cho Hamlet in Thanh Tuyen Commune of Dau Tieng District, on seeing the public agreement with the province, agreed to deliver 15m2 of land under his land-use right to the State to upgrade and expand the DT744 Street. Meantime, Luc Thanh Quan, residing at Thanh Tuyen Commune, said: “We have cleared up and handed over nearly 8 m2 of land to the contractor to upgrade and expand the street under provincial decisions. Up to date, the street has facilitated travelling and transportation of commodities for development of household businesses and settlement of family life.”

Luu Vinh Quoc, the Deputy Chair of Thanh Tuyen Commune People’s Committee said that local leaders have determined that the project of upgrading and expanding DT744 including the part crossing the commune has played significant role in local development. Thus, at the beginning of the project, the commune has established its board of site clearance and compensation to implement the State’s regulations. Particularly, as the affected families have understood and aware of the significant role of the project, they have delivered land-use for the soonest completion of the project.

According to Nguyen Vinh Toan, the Deputy Manager of Provincial Investment and Construction in charge of the project of upgrading and expanding of DT744 Street (at Km12 to Km32), to fulfill the project, the contractor has been supported by local authority. Besides, the inspection team, engineers, and workers have made great efforts in engineering.

To facilitate economic development

Mr. Bay Hien at Thanh Tuyen Commune, said joyfully: “Local people are so delight at the upgrading and expanding of the street. When completed, local people have no longer suffered from waste water releasing to the street along the market place. Althoug the place is fare from towns, it is necessary to build the street to improve local lives. I believe that the street have contributed to the progress of building up Thanh Tuyen as a developed town of Dau Tieng District for the time to come.”

Luc Thanh Quan said that the promptly completion of the street has facilitated travelling of local people. Thus, on inauguration of the street, local people were so glad. Local people have previously been living by income from rubber trees. On upgrade and expansion of the street, various families along the street have switched to trading and catering services to assure their stable and higher income.

DT744 on completion helps to connect with Thu Dau Mot City, changing live hood of local people while bringing delight to passenger and commodity transportation services.
