E-customs should be extended for enterprises’ advantages

This view is from most of enterprises at the preliminary summing-up conference of launching e-customs procedure held by Binh Duong Customs on July 2. Assessing the result of launching e-customs, the local Customs has so far launched e-customs across its affiliates luring the participation of 83 businesses.

Since July 1, additional 69 businesses have participated in the e-customs procedures, lifting total participating businesses up to 152. Export-import turnover in the first half of this year amounted nearly US$1bil, accounting for about 32% of total value of import-export turnover.

On survey, 78% of businesses said that e-customs clearance’s duration is faster than customs declaration via internet and 94.80 ideas of enterprises said that they will select e-customs procedure. Most of enterprises said that it is necessary to launch e-customs widely to create advantages for businesses.
