E-tax refund dossiers account for 99.67%

Le Thanh Quy, Deputy Head of provincial Tax Department said that in the first nine months of 2022, the tax refund work for taxpayers continued quickly being resolved by provincial Tax Department.

Accordingly, the total number of applications received in 9 months was 3,603 with the amount of tax refund requested at more than VND 22.62 trillion. Provincial Tax Department processed tax refund for 3,343 dossiers with the amount of over VND 19.1 trillion. There were also 407 non-refundable tax dossiers transferred to the next period with the proposed tax refund of more than VND3.81 trillion.

Provincial Tax Department said that the number of e-applications for tax refund accounted for 99.67% of total. Therefore, the e-tax refund created favorable conditions for taxpayers, helping quickly exchanging and responding to information between tax authorities and taxpayers, best limiting declaration errors while helping tax agencies well control the progress of processing tax refund dossiers.
