Each locality needs to take initiative in building IT infrastructure investment project

This instruction was made by provincial Party Committee Permanent Deputy Secretary cum provincial People’s Council Chairman Vu Minh Sang at a meeting to review the 10 year-implementation of the Politburo’s Directive No.58/CT-TW on strengthening the application and development of information technology (IT) for the industrialization and modernization process held yesterday morning, March 15.

 After 10 year-implementation of the Directive No.58, the province’s IT application has been realized in a synchronous way, bringing high efficiency. So far, 100% of officials and civil servants have been equipped with computers to work and 100% of State agencies and units have got Internet connection…

 Addressing the meeting, Mr.Sang acknowledged achievements done by collectives and individuals in the task of IT application while asking for State agencies and units to thoroughly grasp the important role of IT for the industrialization and modernization process, actively promote information and communication services to remote areas, attach special importance to training hi-quality IT human resources…
