April 24, Ministry of Education and Training issued Decision on allowing Eastern International University (EIU) to join with junior professional colleges to train university degrees for diplomas and degrees of in-service, junior professional, vocational, and colleges.Accordingly, from 2013, students from any junior professional colleges have their opportunities to obtain university degrees at EIU. The Decision specified training fields of electricity and electronic engineering, automation and control engineering, electromechanical engineering, software engineering, telecommunication and computer networks, and nurseries in in-service regular university training.For joint programs from college to university degrees, the Decision specified training fields of automation and control engineering, electromechanical engineering, software engineering, telecommunication and computer networks, and business administration.The quantity of enrollment is decided by EIU while ensuring quality.
