"Eastern Spirit 2021" caravan and FAM trip held

On December 20, Binh Duong Tourism Association coordinated with travel companies to organize a familiarisation (FAM) and caravan trip named "The Spirit of the East 2021". The program aimed to stimulate tourism demand for the two markets of Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh city after a long time affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, contributing to the local tourism development in the coming time.

The delegation visits Phu An Bamboo Village

The program attracted nearly 90 leaders of travel companies nationwide to survey and jointly develop tourism in Binh Duong province. Departing from Ho Chi Minh city, during its journey, the delegation visited provincial martyrs cemetery, then surveyed and visited tourist sites such as Hoi Khanh Pagoda; Phu Cuong Cathedral; Binh Duong Fine Arts - Culture Junior College; the ancient house of Tran Van Ho; Phu An Bamboo Village; Iron Triangle tunnel; Wildmill studio; Tuong Binh Hiep traditional craft village. In the evening, the delegate will participate in the “Gala Dinner” program at Tiamo pier and experience the Saigon River passing through Thu Dau Mot city at night on the yacht.

It is expected that on December 21, the delegation will continue surveying a number of tourist sites in the province such as Phu Loi Prison relic, Ancient pottery village, provincial Administration Center, Minh Sang Plaza... After this survey, travel companies together with the province’s Tourism Association and tourism sector will exchange and share experiences to develop the local tourism.
