Education – Training: Every teacher is a moral example...

Implementing “Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh”, every educational officials, teachers in the province has been enthusiastically training their virtues, lifestyle, cultivating professional skills. The whole sector launched effectively the campaign of “Every teacher is an example of morality, self-study and creativity".

Being exemplary

Choosing the educational cause, every teacher is always conscious of training virtues to be a good example for students to follow. Since the implementation of Directive 03-CT/TW, the sector has integrated the campaign “Every teacher is an example of morality, self-study and creativity" into the movement “Building friendly schools, active students”. Nguyen Van Kim, Trade Union Chairman of provincial Department of Education – Training, said: “The sector has followed strictly the spirit of these campaigns. Our staff have put many efforts into training personalities, lifestyle, learning to improve knowledge, innovating teaching methods to meet new requirements of the sector”.

Learning from uncle Ho’s moral example was reflected in concrete actions. Depending on each actual condition, every school launched the emulation movement specifically and practically.  Le Van Tinh, Trade Union Chairman of Huynh Van Nghe high school in Tan Uyen town, said: “We always keep uncle Ho’s teachings in mind, that is doing anything must have a heart and enthusiasm. Through regularly performing "exemplary" role, each teacher has shown responsibility and self-consciousness to work. Each teacher has helped to build a healthy teaching environment. And above all, every teacher of our school has learned uncle Ho’s love for students, taught students helping each other in life and learning”.

Teaching is a noble profession. It will be nobler, if teachers have shown essential standards of a teacher. At Tan Uyen town Continuing Education– Technical Vocational Center, teachers have conformed to the motto dare to think, dare to do, dare to be responsible”.

Being dedicated to education

Teaching is a profession of creativity. Dedicated, responsible teachers keep learning, training, creating to bring interesting and useful lessons to students. The emulation movement of studying and following uncle Ho in educational sector has been combined with the movement “Essential innovation, effective improvement, sustainable quality" with the motto of dynamic and creativity.

Each unit has their own way, for example, Tan Phuoc Khanh high school (Tan Uyen town) collected a number of measures to sustainably enhance quality, like: inspections focusing on 8 subjects; class-monitors’ meeting to report on student’s learning and teacher’s teaching; strengthening management activities from school to class; school administrators meet and talk directly with teachers and students…

Teacher Tran Van Hai, Principal of Di An high school, said the school have focused on the role of speciality leaders and Trade Union leaders in all activities; strengthening checking, assessing quality. Teachers of Vo Minh Duc high school (TDM City) have also shown well their responsibility and dedication to students. The teachers keep learning to improve knowledge; thereby their skills have been increasingly proved.

Mr. Kim concluded: “The movement of studying and following uncle Ho has contributed to improving the quality of education. Teachers have applied creatively and effectively uncle Ho’s teachings, put more effort into teaching, self-learning, researching. Each teacher, officials has a strong change in consciousness cultivation, virtue training. Until now, the whole sector have abided well, and have had no violations of teacher ethics”.
