Efficiency from model "For employees"

Under a plan of provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc’s Party Committee on the implementation of the model "For employees" at enterprises, the bloc’s Party Committee and cells well realized Party building; focused on leading mass organizations to actively coordinate with enterprises to take care of workers' lives, develop production and business activities over the past time.

Improving welfare

Over the past time, the Party Committee of Binh Duong Minerals and Construction Joint Stock Company coordinated with mass organizations to implement the "For employees" model, effectively taking care of employees ‘material and spiritual lives, with better welfare regimes. In addition to well implementing regimes and policies as prescribed, the company signed labor deals with 100% of employees while providing them with social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance. The company’s directorate also issued and implemented many preferential policies on body insurance, salary and income improvement for employees.

Especially, in order to ensure employees’ legitimate rights and interests, the Party Committee of Binh Duong Minerals and Construction Joint Stock Company directed the Executive Board of the trade union local to coordinate with directorate to organize annual conferences for employees combined with the summary of production and business activities. At the conferences, employees heard reports on production and business results, participated in giving contributive ideas and had direct dialogues with the company’s directorate to resolve concerns, aspirations and proposals regarding the implementation of policies and regimes for them while  setting up, negotiating and signing collective labor agreements with more favorable clauses for them. The current mid-shift meal allowance for company employees is VND 40,000 per person per shift; toxic compensation in kind is paid at the levels of VND 15,000 - VND20,000 - VND25,000 per person per hazardous workday, depending on the nature of the work and assigned tasks; personal labor protection costs VND1.3million per person per year. The company also organizes annually tours for officials, employees while constantly creating the best working conditions for employees.

In addition, the company has attached special importance to propaganda and training on occupational safety on a regular basis, along with investing in safety equipment for the production and working process and providing adequate and appropriate labor protection equipment for employees. Therefore, the company has always ensured labor safety for many years.

Over the past time, the company’s Party Committee and trade union local also carried out many activities to take care of employees and trade unionists when they were sick, got married, gave birth, etc. The company also paid attention to taking care of the spiritual life of employees by organizing lots of practical cultural-sports activities... Since then, the "For employees" model at the company has created a spreading effect, constantly improving working conditions, improving employees' welfare towards building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.

Employees feeling secure

Dang Quang Thung, Deputy General Director, Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Duong Minerals and Construction Joint Stock Company said that under the model "For employees" associated with the theme "Responsibility - efficiency - culture - discipline", the company’s Party Committee and mass organizations propagandized the content of the model to each unit in the company in order to take good care of and opportunely settle employees’ aspirations. As a result, the company’s trade unionists and employees were also aware of their responsibilities, constantly improving work efficiency.

Specifically, the company’s trade union local actively coordinated with directorate to organize conferences for employees; maintained dialogues at workplace; signed a collective labor agreement with more beneficial contents for employees; organized patriotic emulation movements with focus  on the movement "Working well, working creatively”, contributing to improving work efficiency, well fulfilling professional tasks and production and business targets. As a result, the company’s employees were still guaranteed with jobs in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak with complicated development that seriously affected the production and business situation of many enterprises. Since then, employees have felt secure to work, sticking with the company for a long time…
