Established in 2016, Binh Duong agricultural cooperative in Phu Giao district’s Phuoc Sang commune is specialized in general cultivation and animal husbandry. Over the past years, the cooperative set up a strategy towards sustainable development, thereby creating a stable consumption market for agricultural products of the local farmers.

The cooperative will also partially spend its resource on supporting members with long attachment; encourage members to make linkage in production under a closed chain in the third five-year period. Finally, it will post up on the stock market in the last-five-year period.
This year, the cooperation is expected to launch its avocado products into the market. It is building a trademark for ‘trun que’ (Perionyx excavatus) products. Every year, it can generate 10,000 tons of “trun que” from 120 farms of 12,000 square meters.
Regarding its orientation in production, the cooperative always aims at bringing practical benefits to members. Accordingly, they have enjoyed advantages such as buying fertilizer from the cooperative with 10% discount compared to the market; being purchased all products from the cooperative at the market price…
Along with 7 directorate members, the cooperative is home to 43 members with 80 hectares of farming land, including 70 hectares for growing various avocadoes. The cooperative is specialized in selling Taiwan sugar apple nurslings, Hoang Kim star apples and “trun que” products with the annual income of more than VND20billion.
