According to the medical sector, over the first six months of 2022, the prevention and control of the Covid-19 continued to be implemented drastically and synchronously, ensuring the completion of "dual goal" of both preventing the Covid-19 pandemic and fulfilling socio-economic development task. Currently, Binh Duong is controlling effetively the COVID-19 situation. The province injected more than 7 million shots of Covid-19 vaccine for people. The prevention and control of other diseases, preventive medicine, health-population goals, and food safety continued to be actively implemented by the medical branch.

For dengue fever, hand foot and mouth disease, the province continued to have an increase of infection cases, especially measles decreased sharply. Particularly for medical examination and treatment, medical branch continues to apply information technology advances, such as: Remote medical examination and treatment, technology transfer, implementation of electronic medical records, electronic prescription ...

According to the assessment, from now until the end of the year, the provincial medical sector would face many challenges: The risk of overlapping epidemics on a large scale (Covid-19 and dengue fever), shortage of public medical workers... Therefore, the provincial medical sector will drastically implement remedial solutions, strives to complete the assigned tasks in 2022.
