The price hike of electricity in this year is the highest increase level so far. The Ministry of Trade and Industry, said the increase level was based on input materials, inflation control and approved by the Government.

Along with the adjustment in electricity prices, the government will issue a policy to support disadvantaged, low-income people and businesses in order to promote production and improve competitiveness.

At present, the ministry’s experts have calculated retail level of electricity to apply new price on March 1.
