Update: 09-09-2024 | 15:31:21

The youth union at all levels has been innovative in creating models and new approaches to attract the attention of children and society to participate together with the organization in preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of the nation.

Pride and responsibility

On national holidays and youth programs, youth organizations always enhance propaganda and education of patriotism among children; at the same time, they carry out projects and tasks to spread the meaning within the community. Among them, the Youth Union at all levels has been and is expanding the project "National Flag Road", contributing to raising the spirit of patriotism and civic responsibility in the younger generation.

During the celebration of the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (2-9), in Bac Tan Uyen district, the grassroots delegations of communes and towns have implemented the project "National Flag Road". Specifically, the Youth Union of Thuong Tan commune has carried out this project on Thuong Tan 18 road with 10 flagpoles; The Youth Union of Tan Dinh commune, in collaboration with the grassroots Youth Union of Nha Nai Rubber Farm, has installed 25 flagpoles on Tan Dinh 48 road.

Tan Dinh Youth Union in Bac Tan Uyen district coordinates the implementation of the project "National Flag Road".

The project "Road of the Fatherland Flag" is being widely implemented by the Youth Union from the province to the grassroots level and continues to be carried out on youth self-management routes. The project will promote the voluntary role of young people in creating a bright appearance for the new countryside and civilized urban areas. On the other hand, the project arouses national pride, encourages unity, and enhances patriotism for the general population and the younger generation in particular.

The Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee has recently organized a forum for the Youth of Binh Duong to preserve and promote the values of national culture and participate in the task of promoting cultural development in the new era. At the forum, representatives from the Youth Union of Di An City, Bau Bang District Youth Union, and the Provincial Youth Police shared effective methods and models. At the same time, the delegates also shared more about their own perspectives on daily activities, habits in preserving and promoting the values of national culture, and participating in the task of cultural revival in the new era.

At the forum, Ms. Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said that organizing the forum aims to affirm the position, responsibility, and spirit of action of youth union members in participating in the implementation of tasks to build, preserve, promote and develop Vietnamese culture in accordance with the spirit of Resolution of the 13th CPV Congress; thereby, creating an environment for officials, members, and youth to meet, exchange, express their thoughts, and viewpoints on preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the nation.

NGOC NHU

Not only that, grassroots union organizations also implement the model of "Hanging the National Flag" at workers' dormitory branches to promote the significance of hanging the National Flag on holidays and festivals. At the end of August, the Youth Union and the Organizing Committee of the Unity Project for Youth Workers and Young Workers in Phu Tho Ward, Thu Dau Mot city presented the "National Flag - Flame of Patriotism" project to the youth union members. This aims to awaken the spirit of patriotism in young workers, laborers, and citizens, to work together to build a beautiful and prosperous homeland.

In addition, on major national holidays, youth organizations at all levels in the province change their profile pictures on social media platforms to the image of the national flag and express their pride in the historical traditions of the nation. This is not only an expression of national pride but also a desire for dedication, adding a sacred beauty to the national flag.

Cultural values preserved and promoted

Carrying out annual tasks, the Youth Union and Youth Association from the province to the central base diversify programs and organize activities, forums, symposiums, visits to historical landmarks to educate the traditional history and enhance patriotism among young people. Continuing to strengthen education work, last week the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee organized a forum for young people in Binh Duong to preserve and promote the values of national culture. At the same time, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee directed the youth units to implement key contents in the work, continuing to educate children and adolescents to enhance their awareness and responsibility in building and developing an advanced cultural foundation with a strong national identity.

Along with that, grassroots youth organizations at the commune, ward, and town levels also actively organize programs to disseminate and educate young members about preserving and promoting the values of national culture, linking them with activities to visit historical, cultural, and traditional craft villages in the locality.

Positively implementing the activities in Di An city, the Youth Union of Dong Hoa Ward and the Youth Union of Dong B Neighborhood, the Youth Union of Tay B Neighborhood, and the Youth Union of Tan Hoa Neighborhood have just organized a visit for young members to the traditional incense-making village in Binh Minh 2 Neighborhood. Meanwhile, the Youth Union and the Union of Binh An Ward and Binh Thang Ward have organized visits for young members to explore the cultural and historical values at the Memorial Temple of the Hung Kings in Thu Duc city.

The activities of the Youth Union and Youth Organizations are implemented through specific models to promote the movement "I love my country" among children and adolescents throughout the province; contributing to improving the effectiveness of implementing tasks of building, preserving and developing Vietnamese culture.
