Thuan An Town Youth’s League just coordinated with 13 universities and colleges to organize an orientation workshop for 1,200 students from senior high schools of Nguyen Trai, Trinh Hoai Duc, and Tran Van On. Students are oriented to entrance examinations to universities and colleges At the workshop, the attending students were offered with advise and orientation to universities and colleges at the very beginning of entrance examinations. For this year, the attending educational institutions did not focus on broadcasting but on advice for students to choose by their competence and preference. If right choice is made, they shall have brighter future ahead. The orientation was also for those students of average learning ability who expressed themselves with preparation for entrance examinations. Luu Quynh Nhu, a student of Nguyen Trai Senior High School told us about her intention to take entrance examination to environmental science which she had not known much about; however, instructors from Thu Dau Mot City University have clarified her questions. Ngo Tien Dat, permanent Deputy Secretary of Thuan An Town Youth’s League informed that the organization was aiming at promoting responsible community of family, school, and the society in orientation of students to universities and colleges. The workshop was believed to have offer students with more knowledge of their college and university pathways to come. for the year, the three major universities and colleges in Binh Duong Province including Binh Duong University, Thu Dau Mot City University, and Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology offer both types of entrance: recruiting and examining together with encouraging policies for highly achieved examinees.
