The provincial Department of Education and Training yesterday held the English Olympic Contest for primary school pupils 2012.

The English Olympic Contest attracted 170 primary examinees from 7 local districts and townships. Contestants had to complete 4 test parts including listening, reading, writing and word-puzzle.

In addition, the organizing board held auxiliary tests comprising art items in English. As a result, the organizing board granted 13 individual and collective prizes to excellent units and individuals.
