At a recent dialogue session with trade union leaders at all levels, the grassroots union and the Board of Directors of Phong Thai Company agreed on the following five contents: to arrange parking near the workplace for pregnant workers and workers with children 12 months or younger. Build milking and milk storage rooms for female workers with young children. Offer support for children of female workers who are single mothers having difficult circumstances, the support level for the first child is 1 million VND/month and 500,000 VND/month for the second child. Support for female workers during menstruation at the lowest level of 60,000 VND/month. Create conditions for female workers to have a prenatal check-up once a month and pay 100% of their salary...
Over the years, the number of employees working at Phong Thai Company has been relatively stable, averaging 500-700 workers. Currently, the company has 500 employees, including 178 female employees. The number of female employees raising children under 6 years old at the company is 10 people.
To take good care of the lives of employees, the company has implemented many policies and welfare regimes and does a social security job. Care for female workers
According to Dinh Thi Huong, Chairman of Phong Thai Company's Trade Union, the company's internal regulations and collective labor agreement have specific regulations on the rights and benefits of women workers, in order to ensure the rights and legitimate and legal benefits for female workers.
Accordingly, every year, the company organizes periodic health check-ups and gynecological check-ups for women workers every 6 months. Organize propaganda on reproductive health, gynecological diseases and cervical cancer for female workers. Every quarter, invite a specialist to the company to examine and provide timely treatment advice for all employees of the company, especially female workers with gynecological diseases or chronic diseases to receive better care.
Every year, the company collects information about female workers who have young children and encourages female workers to live with their children and not send them back to their hometowns for grandparents to take care of so that their children can be cared for, educated, and close to their parents. In addition, the company requires team leaders to compile a list of workers' children who want to enroll in kindergartens and primary schools in Tan Dinh ward so that the Board of Directors can send representatives to contact the ward People's Committee and the school principals to enroll the children. Through that, many children of workers can attend local schools and live near their parents. Every year, the company's Trade Union always performs its advisory role well, implements policies relating to employees, pays attention to rewarding excellent students, visits sick and pregnant women, and gives birthday gifts.
