Enhancing expertise for tour guides

Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has recently collaborated with Binh Duong University to conduct a knowledge enhancement course for tour guides in 2025. The objective of the course is to furnish and update information, as well as to equip the tour guide team with knowledge of new policies and guidelines pertaining to tourism.

The course was conducted online. Participants from both within and outside the province received updated information from the lecturers on six topics, including: the current state of tourism development in Vietnam, information on new tourism products, key tourism offerings; measures to ensure the security and safety of tourists; the global tourism landscape, trends, and prospects; the economic, political, and social context of the country; the organizational structure of state management in tourism; and the new legal documents pertaining to tourism.

At the conclusion of the course, eligible students received a certificate. This is one of the requirements for tour guides to renew their cards upon the expiration of their practice cards in accordance with regulations.
