Today (February 15), 1,575 young people in Binh Duong will set off for military service under enlistment invitations. As of now, all preparations have been completed to reach the best results for the enlistment day.

When the Fatherland calls...

Temporarily setting aside personal plans, 1,575 young people in Binh Duong are ready for joining the army in 2022. Among them, many have voluntarily joined the army. They have their own dreams and aspirations, but they all have the same wish to wear a blue military uniform and express the responsibility and obligation of youth with the task of building and protecting the Fatherland. Nguyen Ngoc Linh Phong in Thu Dau Mot city’s Hoa Phu ward is a typical example. Linh Phong is a young Party member developed from a young worker. Since his childhood, Linh Phong has wanted to become a soldier to serve the country. Therefore, Linh Phong has volunteered to join the army, along with many other young people following in his father's footsteps to fulfill his sacred duty.

Accompanying and supporting her son in the implementation of military servie, Pham Thi Kim Loan, mother of Nguyen Ngoc Linh Phong shared: “I am very happy to see my son grow up. I am very supportive, but also does not forget to tell my son that when entering the military environment, he must try harder and comply with the regulations of the army to become a strong and brave youth...”. Linh Phong shared: “Every time I think about the day of enlistment, I feel quite eager. Everything is ready for me. I hope that the military environment will help me grow up and dedicate to the country."

Sharing the same sentiment, Huynh Trung Hieu in Phu Tho ward is anxiously waiting for the moment to set off for military service. During the period when Binh Duong was heavily affected by the fourth Covid-19 wave, the image of Huynh Trung Hieu became familiar. At that time, Huynh Trung Hieu just graduated from high school. With the enthusiasm of youth, Hieu volunteered to join Phu Tho ward’s Youth Union’s volunteer team against Covid-19 In the morning, Hieu joined the traffic control checkpoint against the pandemic. Having a quick lunch, he continued joining hands with other volunteers to distribute food to the people. There were days when it rained heavily and the wind was strong, Hieu still went out in the rain to quietly find something to cover vegetables for fear of spoilage and could not give them to the people tomorrow.

When life returned to normal, Hieu was still engrossed in the local Youth Union activities. Hieu promised himself that he will volunteer to join the army when the pandemic is over. Therefore, in 2022, Hieu wrote a volunteer application to join the army. Hieu is determined to become a good soldier in the army and will successfully complete his mission and continuing making contributions to the locality.
