Promoting independence, creativeness, the government carries out the task of fulfilling 100% target of selecting citizens, recruitment for the army, which is a significant element for Binh Duong province to improve quality of enlistment in 2014.  Major General Van Cong Danh (R), Commander of provincial Military Command, offered flowers and encouraged young persons of TDM City to enlist for the army in 2013.At the meeting summarizing enlistment of 2013 held on November 1st, according to reports of 2013, because government at localities performed well propaganda of Law on Military Service among people, knew thoroughly the number of youth at military service ages, simultaneously conducted seriously selecting and recruitment fairly, publicly, democratically in accordance with laws, the province accomplished 100% target of enlistment. Among 1,700 enlisted young persons, there were 80 Party’s members, accounting for 4.71%; 333 persons having higher education (19.59%); 1,497 young persons having type-I or -II health condition (88.06%).Also at the summarizing meeting, provincial People’s Committee Chairman Le Thanh Cung reminded localities, Military Service’s Committees at all levels to continue to perform well propaganda of Law on Military Service, governmental Decree No. 120/2013/ND-CP dated October 9th 2013 regarding sanctions against military, cipher violations, and some related legal normative documents so that people can understand and fulfill, especially young persons at military service ages. Some tasks also need to be fulfilled, such as: registration, preselecting, medical check for citizens, procedural recruitment, publishing selective criteria and enrollment list, especially situations of postponement, exemption from military service in peacetime. In addition, agencies, organizations have to promote their role of persuading young persons to enlist for the army voluntarily, carry out army rear tasks, visit to encourage and give gifts to enlisted young persons and their families, notably ones having difficult family circumstance. Greeting and creating jobs for discharged soldiers should also be focused.Some localities having target enlistment in the first phase of 2014, like Di An town, Ben Cat, Dau Tieng, Phu Giao district, have to devise correct plans, direct and execute seriously, procedurally recruitment, strive to accomplish 100% target enlistment.
