Ensuring adequate supply of medicine for people on Tet holiday

In order to ensure medicine for people on the occasion of the New Year and Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2023, the health sector has required medical units in the province to implement a plan to stockpile medicine, absolutely avoiding the situation of medicine scarcity, sudden increase in prices. Currently, medical units in the province are preparing a full range of medicine for Tet, including medicine for emergency, Covid-19 prevention and control, dengue fever, influenza A, hand-and-mouth disease, measles, rubella, diarrhea caused by rotavirus, diseases transmitted through respiratory and digestive tracts.

Provincial Department of Health said that the Department's Inspector will conduct inspection and inspection of the local drug business establishments on the implementation of pharmacy expertise, regulations on production, trading, import and export of drugs and cosmetics; strictly handle cases of fake drugs, poor quality drugs, drugs not licensed for circulation or goods hoarding for speculation and price increase.

The health divisions of districts, towns and cities will also notify businesses and pharmacies of organizing 24-hour drug sales points to prevent speculation on drugs and their price increase on the occasion of Tet 2023.
