Enterprises accompanied by families

Upholding the meaning of building a friendly relationship between business and workers’ families, grassroots trade unions have implemented many good ways and creative models that need to be multiplied. This activity indirectly takes care of material and spiritual life for laborers in order to build a family cultural environment, enterprise culture for employment, worker life and sustainable development of the company.

Meeting of workers’ families

Once a month, the Labor Union of Phu Xuan Co., Ltd. holds a meeting with families of workers who are working for the company. The meeting attracted many representatives of families of workers (including their parents, siblings, and children) in the factories. They are excited to participate in the program with a serious attitude and a lot of enthusiasm to contribute to improve the responsibility of businesses, families and workers in building harmonious and stable labor relations.

At such meetings, representatives of workers' families are usually informed by the Board of Directors of the company's production and business activities in the month as well as the policies of enterprises on the preferential allowances for workers such as high-yield bonuses, awards for many initiatives to improve product quality, difficulty grants, toxic subsidies, support for people with occupational accidents or workers with particularly difficult circumstances. In addition, the meetings also implement a number of legal policies related to legitimate rights, interests, legitimacy and responsibility of enterprises in taking care of all aspects of material and spiritual life for workers.

Nguyen Thi Bau, mother of Nguyen Van Hau, a worker of shoe heel workshop said: "I am so excited and touched to receive invitation to the meeting. This is a very practical activity that has a direct impact on the lifestyle, industrial behavior and the behavioral culture of each worker and the workers’ relatives themselves."

Wanek Company grants awards to excellent workers

Kieu Anh Dung, Chairman of Labor Union of Phu Xuan Co., Ltd said: "Upholding the meaning of building family cultural environment and corporate culture, once a month, the company's union hold one such meeting. The model has been implemented since April, but it has brought practical effect, not only to make the workers understand the enterprise, but also to share information and create friendly relationship."

In addition to the information activities for the workers, the company also praised the excellent workers in the month for their technical improvement of production quality or churning out products exceeding the prescribed output; souvenirs to family workers with excellent performance are also offered.

Difficulties of workers’ families shared

In the past time, some enterprises in the province have not only perform the activities of spiritual material life well but also shared difficulties with them. The activity is not only meant for keeping them but also encouraging them to feel secured in working and long-term business.

Tran Thi Ha Binh, Human Resources Manager of Poong Kook Saigon 3 Company Limited, said: "The Board of Directors always cares for their employees and their families. Specifically, the company always pay attention to improve income, ensuring that workers are working in the best environment. Every year, the company also presents gifts to workers in particularly difficult circumstances."

Also shared with the family of workers, Le Quang Thu Ngoc, Human Resources Manager of Apparent Far Eastern Limited Company, said: "The company always considers employees as valuable assets of enterprises and workers’ families offer the important environment contributing to the creation of human resources and assets for enterprises. So many years, the company always focus on living, organizing many models to reach families of workers. Activities close to the familíe of workers have encouraged them to emulate labor, increase productivity, and bring high efficiency in production and businesses.
