Enterprises join the gratitude activities

Implementing the policy of the CPV and the State on taking care of people with meritorious services, over the past time, many businesses inside and outside the province have well performed the social work by joining hands to make great contributions to the work of repaying including the programs of free medical examination and treatment, housing construction, gift-giving and other programs on holidays and Tet.

Health-care given to people with merit contribution to the nation

At the end of July, the nation is looking forward to the 75th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 to July 27, 2022) to show gratitude to individuals and families with merits to the nation. Getting on with the revolution, the medical team of Becamex International Hospital visited, examined and treated heroic Vietnamese mothers in Thuan An and Thu Dau Mot cities.

Visiting and examining mother Tran Thi Tu (82 years old) in An Son commune of Thuan An city, the doctors graciously inquired about her health and examined her. In a warm and joyful atmosphere, Tu’s child kindly said: "Since the day the doctors from Becamex International Hospital came for regular check-ups and medicines, my mother's health has improved a lot. Being as healthy as today, I want to thank the Board of Directors of Becamex IDC, the Board of Directors of Becamex International Hospital, and the doctors who examined and treated for their care and dedication."

Under the direction of the Board of Directors of Becamex IDC, every month in recent years, doctors at My Phuoc General Hospital in Ben Cat town also go to every heroic Vietnamese mothers' houses to take care of them with medical examination and medicine distribution. For each case of serious illness, the hospital provided financial support, and even bring a car to the house to pick them up to the hospital for treatment. The work requires a team of dedicated and conscientious doctors and nurses to offer regular supervision.

When coming to the hospital for free medical examination and treatment at Medic Binh Duong General Hospital, wounded and sick war soldiers are also given gifts of gratitude by the hospital's leaders.

Over the years, besides the task of developing production and business, Becamex IDC has become a pioneer enterprise in Binh Duong that performs well the social work including gratitude activities. From 2013, Becamex IDC has implemented a health checkup program for heroic Vietnamese mothers and war invalids at two major hospitals of My Phuoc General Hospital and Becamex International Hospital. Accordingly, every month, heroic Vietnamese mothers in the province are visited by doctors from those two hospitals on periodical health check and free medicine distribution.

Particularly for seriously ill mothers requiring emergency care, hospitals will use transportation, inpatient treatment with the best service room and quality of medical services without having to pay expenses during the treatment process. . In addition, Becamex IDC has granted priority cards and free treatment for 100% of patients who are 1/4 wounded war veterans in the province. Only from 2017, Becamex IDC has donated hundreds of billions of VND to the Gratitude Fund and the Fund for the Poor; in which, the amount of money spent on medical examination and treatment activities for policy beneficiaries is up to tens of billions of VND.

Joining hands with the province in taking care of people with meritorious services to the nation, recently, Binh Duong Medic General Hospital organized health check-ups for 1,728 in the province. Mr. Nguyen Van Ngang, a resident of Long Tan commune of Dau Tieng district and a 3/4 wounded soldier when participating in medical examination with the delegation from Dau Tieng district said: "I'm glad that many businesses in the province are interested to materially and spiritually share with us. It can be said that the support from businesses has helped many families like us to rise up and have a better life.”

Ms. Tran Ngoc Hien, Director of Medic Binh Duong General Hospital, said that in order to show gratitude to people with meritorious services in the area, the hospital has invited many qualified doctors in Ho Chi Minh city to perform general health examinations, by which, if it is found that the disease requires long-term treatment, the hospital will continue to provide free treatment support. This is a very meaningful activity that the hospital will maintain in the coming years.

Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Hang, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, said the activities of the above-mentioned enterprises to care and provide medical examination and treatment for people with meritorious services to the revolutionary cause in the province. It is a very meaningful job to show gratitude and share some of the losses that they and their families have suffered from what had been left behind by the war.

To spread the meaningful activities

In order to well perform the work of giving gratitude to policy families and people with meritorious services in the area, over the years, Binh Duong Lottery One Member Limited Company has organized many practical activities as thousands of gifts have been given by the grassroots Trade Union and the company's grassroots union to policy families and people with meritorious services, and heroic Vietnamese mothers in the province.

Only in the past two days of July 19 and 20, the company had coordinated with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Thu Dau Mot city, Thuan An city and Bac Tan Uyen district to organize the donation of 3 houses of gratitude to 3 policy families who have contributed to the revolution in the province. Each house was built with an actual land area from 21m2 to 90.18m2 by the funding of VND 100 million a unit from the sponsorship of Binh Duong Lottery One Member Limited Liability Company. In addition, at the house giving ceremony, the company's representatives also gave meaningful and practical gifts to those households. It is known that in the past 10 years, on average, each year the company has joined hands to build gratitude houses in all localities in the province with no less than 10 units.

Upholding the spirit of gratitude, many businesses inside and outside the area are aiming to take care of the families of people with meritorious services in recent times. Most recently, the Thien Tam Foundation under Vingroup offered gifts for wounded and sick soldiers with an injury rate of 81% or more in 63 provinces and cities across the nation. In Binh Duong, 102 such beneficiaries have received VND 15 million each in the total budget of VND 1.530 billion. Ms. Phung Thi My Le, a representative of Thien Tam Foundation, said: "The merits of those who have sacrificed themselves for the nation are hard to recognize. The gift from Thien Tam Fund is to encourage and share some of the difficulties with the the. The fund will be with them in Binh Duong for more years to come.”

Recently, on the occasion of July 27, Thien Tam Foundation visited all Vietnamese heroic mothers in the province to give away gifts worth VND 5 million in cash each. It can be said that the cooperation of units and businesses has contributed to raising the standard of living for families of meritorious contribution throughout the province both materially and spiritually while contributing to the fostering of more patriotic traditions, national pride and the great national unity of profound humanistic meanings.
