Facing the complicated developments of Covid-19 pandemic, province-based enterprises have managed to overcome all difficulties, joining hands to realize the "dual goals". Pham Minh Ha, Director of Hung Hai Thinh Company said that the company now has many orders that need to be completed. If the pandemic occurs, production is suspended. The company's losses will be huge, both in terms of economy and reputation. Through monitoring the developments of the pandemic in the province, the company's directorate has been proactive to set up a plan against the pandemic while making propaganda among employees to be ready to respond to all circumstances. Therefore, the company has arranged more than 350 workers to stay at the factory under the "3 on-site" production model, ensuring orders signed with partners.

According to Zheng Xia, Deputy General Director of Thien Phien Company in Tan Uyen town, although the company’s number  of orders at present is 80% compared to the pre-pandemic period, the company has still made great efforts to maintain production, ensuring its supply chain. Fortunately, the company has received support from long-term customers and suppliers so that it has continued operating effectively. In order to ensure that production is maintained at the needs of workers, the company has methodically implemented the "3 on-site" production model. Since implementing the "3 on-site" production model, the company has helped employees feel secure in production, making every effort for the goals of Covid-19 prevention-control and effective production development. Most workers are determined to stay at the company to maintain production activities. They are aware that along with maintaining jobs, staying at the company is also to join hands to protect the health of themselves and the community, contributing to fighting the pandemic.

In order to maintain the "dual goals" of production for socio-economic development and effective Covid-19 prevention and control, Kolon Vietnam Company in the Uyen Hung Industrial Compound is determined to continue implementing many solutions simultaneously such as conducting Covid-19 testing for all employees, providing workshops with anti-Covid-19 equipment, offering free masks, anti-droplet face shields, hand sanitizer... to workers. An Kyu Kang, Director of the company said that all the current difficulties are the common difficulties of the business community. Compared to the difficulties of the locality and the Government, they are still very small. The company has always strived to overcome difficulties, joining hands with the locality to prevent, control the pandemic and realize the "dual goals".

Maintaining high level of vigilance against Covid-19

The spreading of the pandemic from factories to the community and vice versa is a constant risk. If the pandemic occurs at factories, this will greatly affect the delivery schedule of signed contracts. Nguyen Liem, CEO of Lam Viet Joint Stock Company in Tan Uyen town’s Khanh Binh ward said that thanks to the enthusiastic support of the local authorities at all levels, the company has promptly screened and retained 80% out of 950 workers to maintain production activities under the "3 on-site" model. All the efforts aim to help the company ensure signed orders, income for workers, contributing to the local development. In addition to creating the best conditions for employees in terms of meals and living places to ensure safety for Covid-19 prevention and control, the company has strictly controlled over workers ‘entry and exit, checked their body temperature and propagandized anti-Covid-19 measures among them.

Nguyen Thi Tuyet Ngan, Deputy Head of Viet Danh Co., Ltd.’s Personnel Department in the Uyen Hung industrial compound said that the company's number of orders is now about 20% higher than in the same period last year. Maintaining production to ensure orders with partners along with ensuring income for employees are the goals set by the company’s directorate. The company has also conducted rapid antigen testing for all workers to promptly detect and prevent the spreading of the pandemic. The company has also blocked off and disinfected the entire workshop and mess hall after each working shift and each meal shift.

Speaking highly of the anti-pandemic spirit of enterprises as well as their efforts to apply the "3 on-site" production model, Nguyen Truong Thi, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Industry and Trade said the local sector of industry and trade will continue helping enterprises remove difficulties in production-business…The sector will soon propose and coordinate with other sectors to solve difficulties, creating the most favorable conditions for enterprises to feel secure in production.

Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee affirmed that Binh Duong is doing its best to protect enterprises. The province has created favorable conditions for enterprises to implement the "3 on-site", "1 road, 2 locations" models, ensuring safety for Covid-19 prevention-control to maintain production. The province has also called on enterprises to accompany the local government to maintain the "citadel" against the pandemic. The local government will support and create all conditions for enterprises to further develop safe production amid the complicated developments of the pandemic.
