Recently, the implementation of many policies on tax, fee, land rent exemption, reduction and extension, and tax refund has promptly helped enterprises recover and develop their production and business. In particular, tax refunds in the current context have become extremely important and essential to support businesses in maintaining operations and sustainable development.
At the recent conference between Binh Duong province leaders and industry associations and domestic investors in 2024, the provincial business community hoped to receive early tax refunds according to legal regulations. Namely, the business community recommended considering and resolving tax refund procedures for businesses, such as value added tax and import tax for on-site import and export activities, to reduce capital congestion for businesses.
Regarding this issue, the Binh Duong Provincial Tax Department said it has sent a report to the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee and the Binh Duong Provincial National Assembly Delegation for instructions. At the same time, the Ministry of Finance sent an Official Dispatch to the Government on the draft Decree amending Decree No. 08/2015/ND-CP, reporting the results of the assessment and summary of the implementation of regulations on on-site export and import goods prescribed in Clause 1, Article 35 of Decree No. 08/2015/ND-CP.
Tax refunds hold significant importance for small and medium-sized enterprises, which often struggle to access bank loans due to insufficient collateral. A representative of the Binh Duong Provincial Tax Department said that when there are instructions from competent authorities, the Tax Department will inform industry associations and enterprises for implementation.
