Marjorie Yang, Chairwoman of the Hongkong-invested Esquel Corporation made the statement at a meeting with provincial People’s Committee Chairman Le Thanh Cung on the local investment climate held on June 5.

At the meeting, Mrs.Marjorie Yang said that under the support of the local functional agencies and laborers, the corporation quickly improved consequences of the incidents and resumed operation on May 26. She also spoke highly of the province’s investment climate and said that the corporation would further sort out Binh Duong for developing its biggest factory. It is known that the corporation has made investment in Binh Duong for 14 years, generating jobs for 5,500 laborers.

Mr.Cung also spoke highly of Esquel Corporation’s goodwill and said that the province would take concrete support measures to help the corporation overcome difficulties and stabilize production.
