This dish is made from main ingredients, such as beef and shrimp paste. Broth of the hot pot has a rather strange and special taste being cooked from shrimp paste.

Banh Beo Bi

Binh Duong Banh Beo Bi has its own unique character that is very different to other Banh Beo dishes in the Central or South West region. In addition to Banh Beo (steamed rice cake), the important element that makes the special taste of Binh Duong Banh Beo Bi is pork skin and fish sauce. Grilled rice powder, shredded pork and pork skin are mixed with a little garlic. Fish sauce tastes salty, but still sweet and a little bit sour. Rice cakes are arranged on a plate with a layer of green bean paste on each cake, then cover with chopped vegetables and cucumbers. Diners just need to add some prepared fish sauce to the dish and enjoy it.
