Establishment of provincial Fire Fighting and Prevention Police Department announced

The ministry of Public Security and the provincial People’s Committee just announced a decision of establishing the provincial Fire Fighting and Prevention Police Department. The provincial Fire Fighting and Prevention Police Department is set up in line with a decision of PM on the foundation of the provincial Public Security’s Fire Fighting and Prevention Police Division.

Colonel Nguyen Van Son, vice director of the provincial Public Security is appointed to hold the position of director of the provincial Fire Fighting and Prevention Police Department. The establishment of the provincial Fire Fighting and Prevention Police Department is to reinforce rescue work professionally.

Addressing the decision announcement ceremony, Lieutenant-general Bui Quang Ben, vice minister of the ministry of Public Security asked the department to cooperate with mass bodies, agencies to excel fire fighting and prevention.
