At the ceremony, a local representative read a congratulatory letter from General Secretary and President To Lam to the education sector on the occasion of the new school year's commencement. In the letter, General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized that the Party and State always consider education and training as a top national priority and have implemented policies to promote the development of education and training. On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the General Secretary and President praised the spirit of dedication and effort of both teachers and students across the country as well as the support from parents in recent times. The 2024-2025 school year is the first year of implementing the 2018 General Education Program across all grades, so the General Secretary and President urged the education sector to effectively carry out the academic year's objectives. He also encouraged educators, administrators and staff in the education sector to remain passionate, creative and resilient, making more contributions to their noble profession.

For the 2024-2025 academic year, Binh Duong has over 520,600 students in all levels. Specifically, Hung Vuong Specialized High School has 889 students in three grade levels. With the theme of "Innovation, Quality Improvement, Unity and Discipline", the school is determined to achieve its objectives for the new school year, focusing on the successful implementation of the 2018 General Education Program in all three grades. In addition to providing comprehensive education, emphasizing moral education, life values and life skills, the school will further develop its contingent of specialized teachers and administrators, meeting the requirements of a specialized school. The school also aims at enhancing the application of information technology and digital transformation in teaching and learning.

During the ceremony, provincial DOET, in collaboration with provincial Study Promotion Association, awarded 10 "Giving strength to school" scholarships worth VND 5 million each to poor-but-excellent students.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Council, attended the new school year opening ceremony at Ban Cat High School in Ben Cat city. The event was also attended by leaders of Ben Cat city and 2,000 students from the school.

In the last school year, the school’s staff, teachers and students continuously strived to excel at teaching and learning. By the end of the school year, the school achieved a 100% graduation rate, with an average score +0.1 higher than the provincial average, surpassing the previous year and rising one rank compared to the same period last year. The school's average score increased steadily over the past three years.

On this occasion, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) – North Binh Duong Branch, in collaboration with Ben Cat city’s People's Committee, awarded 28 "Giving strength to school" scholarships worth VND 2 million each to poor-but-excellent students in the 2023-2024 school year.

On September 5th, the whole province had 16 working delegations, led by provincial leaders, attended the new academic year opening ceremonies and awarded scholarships to poor-but-excellent students. Tan Hiep Secondary School was established and began operations in the 2020-2021 school year with modern facilities, meeting the learning needs of students from nearby wards and communes. In the 2024-2025 school year, the school welcomed additional 578 students entering grade 6. In the 2023-2024 school year, Chu Van An Secondary School achieved impressive results, maintaining its strength in educational quality in the province and the city. The school achieved a 99.3% progression rate and a 98.02% graduation rate. In the 2024-2025 school year, Chu Van An Secondary School will have over 1,900 students in all grades.
