On April 8, opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition "Hung King dynasty through visual materials and artifacts" took place at Traditional House of Di An City.
The exhibition consisted of 100 artifacts selected from the newly collected artifacts of the Ho Chi Minh City History Museum. The artifacts are mainly bronze and bear the shades of the classic Đông Sơn. In particular, there were many artifacts that have never been displayed before in Đông Sơn cultural collections as well as in the world.
The exhibition held by Di An City Center for Culture, Information and Sports aimed to celebrate Hung King’s death anniversary (10th March lunar calendar), celebrate the 47th anniversary of the Southern Liberation, National Reunification (30th April 1975 - 30th April 2022), Labor International Day (1st May), the 132nd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday (19th May 1890 - 19th May 2022); thereby, promoting the conservation and promotion of the traditional cultural heritage of Vietnamese people.
On this occasion, Di An City Center for Culture, Information and Sports summarized and rewarded winners of the 4th Vietnamese folklore and beliefs’ online contest 2022. After its launch, from February 14 to March 20, the contest received more than 300 entries from 160 teachers of schools in the province. The organizers presented 47 awards to excellent individuals and collectives of the contest.
