Binh Duong has been building a provincial planning project for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050. The project has gone through two seminars, recognizing many directions and contributions from provincial leaders, departments, and leading experts to complete, most suitable, and promote Binh Duong to develop corresponding to its potential to be comprehensive, harmonious and sustainable.
The prudence in every step of the planning implementation unit, the close direction, the responsibility of the leadership, and the scientific contributions of experts through the seminars have shown the importance of this provincial planning project for a new development stage of the province. Industrial, service and urban pillars as well as social and cultural security issues continue to be mentioned in the draft planning project, but at a higher level, more fundamental and sustainable.
That spirit continues to be directed by provincial leaders to bring Binh Duong development to a new level. Binh Duong will restructure its economy towards modernity, taking science and technology, innovation, digital economy, sharing economy and green economy as the focus; prioritizing the development of high-tech industry, high-quality services, etc. The directions and suggestions of the provincial leaders with the new phase of the provincial planning project have opened up a new vision, expanded space, exploited the development space in all fields, especially the areas where the province has good potential and strengths.
Particularly in the field of urban development, Binh Duong is ahead with the vision of a smart city and is gradually realizing it with a new city. Accompanying smart city are smart services, utilities, regional and global connections. All fields are in balance, harmony and mutual support for development. The industrial picture has also restructured, currently concentrated in the southern provinces, and will gradually move to the north of the province. The space of the southern localities will focus on high-quality services and modern civilized cities. Industry is also selective in the direction of high technology and technology, creating great value. Outdated, labor-intensive, and environmentally hazardous industries will be limited and gradually come to an end. The vision of technical infrastructure planning, especially traffic, is no longer narrowing the inner province but opening up directions, from roads, waterways, railways, regional, inter-regional and regional connections.
It is expected that the new phase of the provincial planning project will open up a new and breakthrough development journey to bring the province to the success as the set goal.
