Expectations from traffic connections

Along with Ring Road 3, other key traffic routes such as Ring Road 4, extension of Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien Metro line towards Dong Nai and Binh Duong; railway lines from central station... are being executed by Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai to quickly form a continuous and synchronous regional transport network.

The rapid formation of key traffic routes, including roads and railways in the Southeast region, is of particular importance in the implementation of the Politburo's Resolution 24-NQ/TW on socio-economic development and national defense and security assurance in the Southeast region to 2030, with a vision to 2045, because traffic must always go first to pave the way. Only when provinces and cities in the region have connectivity in terms of transport infrastructure, will the space for socio-economic development be expanded, and at the same time, other inter-regional connections between provinces and cities will be feasible.

Not only that, the formation of key inter-regional transport routes not only helps localities have new "gateways" for development, but also can effectively promote their roles and maximize the functions of this program in practice. For example, the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien Metro line is not only a "dream” of Ho Chi Minh City, but also a continuous connection along the eastern gateway to the center, creating momentum for development in all socio-economic aspects of the city and neighboring provinces such as Binh Duong, Dong Nai. Therefore, the extension of this metro line towards Binh Duong and Dong Nai is also being discussed by localities to quickly deploy and implement. When extended towards Binh Duong and Dong Nai, the meaning of connecting this metro line does not stop at the story of reducing personal vehicles and limiting traffic jams, but also the multi-connection, including human resource connection, science and technology, education - training, commerce, tourism, services...

 Therefore, provinces and cities in the Southeast region have actively coordinated, discussed, found solutions and proposed to quickly connect key inter-regional transport routes to create effective positive response. This opens the expectation of a new height for the development of the provinces and cities in the region as well as the Southeast region in the coming time.
