Experiencing Japanese life in Binh Duong

As the Vietnam - Japan friendship relationship is getting more and more thriving, the number of Vietnamese people living and doing business in Japan is increasing. Along with that, the number of Japanese people coming to Vietnam to travel or live increased rapidly. In Binh Duong, the number of Japanese people coming to live, study and work is also increasing.

50 years since the establishment of the official diplomatic relationship, Vietnam - Japan relations have continuously grown, getting more sustainable and achieving many outstanding achievements. The two countries have achieved deep political trust, effective and practical cooperation in all fields.

As of now, Japan ranks second among 65 countries and territories making investment in Binh Duong province with 351 projects capitalizing at more than US$ 5.92 billion. Most Japanese companies and transnational corporations, namely Panasonic, Toshiba, Foster, Tokyu, Fujikura Company, Aeon Mall Vietnam Company Limited... have had investment projects in Binh Duong.

There are many companies operating for a long time in Binh Duong, so more and more Japanese people are attached and become residents of this "good land for birds to perch on". Accordingly, many Japanese-style restaurants, supermarkets and shopping centers are also springing up. Besides, in recent years, the Japanese festival in the new city of Binh Duong has become an indispensable destination for many locals and tourists.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (September 21, 1973 - September 21, 2023), many practical and meaningful activities took place in Binh Duong.
