Farmers ‘Associations at all levels offer help to needy people

In 2020, provincial Farmers ‘Associations at all levels mobilized donors, good farmers in production and business to donate gifts to poor, near-poor households and those facing difficulties, due to Covid-19 pandemic. Particularly, they offered 2,982 gifts, fruits, vegetables, instant noodles, rice, eggs, hand sanitizers, medical masks…worth more than VND1.9billion to the poor.

Provincial Farmers ‘Associations at all levels also mobilized the local lodging facilities to give rent fee reduction for laborers with the decrease level of VND200,000-VND300,000 per room; offered help of more than VND6.9billion to poor farmers in homebased business development. In addition, provincial Farmers ‘Association mobilized VND160million from organizations and individuals to support the construction of “great unity” houses for members in Bau Bang and Phu Giao districts.
