Farmers in Tan Uyen provided VND800mln in loan for economic development

Provincial Farmers’ Society, on June 30, handed over VND800mln in loan from its support fund for farmers to 80 members in Tan Uyen district. Accordingly, each member got a loan of VND10mln with the preferential interest rate of 0.5% per month within 36 months.

Prior to that, provincial Farmers’ Society also guided these members how to effectively use the loan. It is known that their loan-borrowing projects focus on investing and tending rubber gardens, cultivation and animal husbandry. Thanks to the loans from the above support fund, the local farmer households over time bravely applied sci-tech advancements and expanded their agricultural production to increase their income, greatly contributing to shifting the local economic structure.
