Farmers’ Union of North Tan Uyen district holds the second talented farmer competition

On May 20, Farmers Union of North Tan Uyen district held the second Farmers' Competition in 2022.

This year's contest had the participation of 10 teams with more than 100 candidates, who represented Farmers' Union branches of communes and towns in the district. The competition teams undergone three exams including: knowledge of farmers; listening to farmers, and farmers’ competition. During the program, interesting performances were given by the team and depicted real situations of farmer’s daily life and work. The knowledge and skills of farmer members were shown in the common knowledge contest about the Party's and State's policies on agriculture, farmers and rural areas; knowledge of science and technology in agricultural production: safe, organic, ecological, circular; agricultural production using high technology, smart, 4.0 technology, digital technology and other cultural and social issues.

The contest was also an occasion for farmers in North Tan Uyen district to exchange and learn experience in production and application of scientific and technical advances in aquaculture and fishery exploitation, contributing to propagating the Party's policies, guidelines, and laws of the State, in order to raise farmers’ awareness of agricultural development, new rural construction, and to promote the movement of farmers doing good production and business, encourage farmers to help each other generate more incomes and reduce poverty sustainably.

At the end of the competition, the organizers awarded the first, second and third prizes for the best competition performances and the first team prize to Hieu Liem commune.
