Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Tan Uyen district is for the green, clean and beautiful environment

In order to raise awareness and mobilize people to join hands with the Fatherland Front, mass organizations to build a green, clean and beautiful local, the Fatherland Front at all levels in Bac Tan Uyen district has focused on activities to build roads associated with the movement of "All people participate in environmental protection and sustainable development".

Building a civilized route

Tan Binh route number 48 in Tan Binh town in the last days of May was clear, clean with no more bushes nor garbage scattered on both sides of the road. That is the result obtained after a meeting of departments, unions, cadres and civil servants, the Executive Board of Quarter 2, Quarter 3 and the local people. Under the slogan of "All for the green - clean - beautiful environment", the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Binh town organized a campaign to clean up the environment, and launched the green, clean, beautiful street movement to eradicate pollution from spontaneous domestic landfills. More than 500 meters of Tan Binh Street No. 48 was cleared, cleaned, garbage-free with opened drainage ditches and planted flowers to beautify the route. The activity was also carried out by the town's Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee on many roads in the area and maintained regularly so that people can see practical benefits; thereby, raising their sense of responsibility to participate in building a civilized lifestyle.

The Fatherland Front of Lac An commune organizes the implementation of the model of "Residential area with green, clean, beautiful environment"

In 2022, the movement to change the appearance of rural roads in Bac Tan Uyen district took place very actively. The grassroots Fatherland Front has organized many activities to build environmental landscapes close to people's lives. Going to Lac An route numbers 49, 50, 51, 52 of Lac An commune, the slogan of "Determined to build a cultural route" always reminds local people to actively join with the government in implementing the model of of "Cultural Zone for residents to have a green, clean, beautiful environment".

In the launching ceremony to implement the model just organized by the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Lac An commune, the commune mass organizations, the Executive Board, the Front Working Committee and the households in the residential area all together planted ornamental plants such as wallflowers, hibiscus flowers, ornamental flowers, bougainvillea and flower pots are placed along both sides of the route. The joy is that the people trust and support the policy to have enthusiastically participated in the launch ceremony to implement the model and also contributed to the State budget support to complete the route with trees and flowers.

Each practical activity of the Fatherland Front in communes and towns in the area will create a movement and continue to propagate and mobilize people to build a clean and beautiful living environment. Not only that, the movement also brought effective propaganda and implementation of socio-economic development tasks to ensure national defense and security, CPV resolutions, policies and laws of the State.

The highlighted models

Over the years, many models of building a green, clean and beautiful local from offices, schools, hamlet offices, neighborhoods and residential areas have been associated with the implementation of the campaign of "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized cities" and the national target program on building new rural areas have been effectively implemented by the Fatherland Front and mass organizations in Bac Tan Uyen district. In addition, the district Fatherland Front has increased the organization of training courses to improve skills and knowledge, and participated in propagandizing and mobilizing people to jointly preserve the green - clean - beautiful environment.

According to the implementation plan of the Project of "Civilization work to participate in building a cultural and civilized lifestyle" for 2021-2025 in the district, the district Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee has launched movements and contests for the Fatherland Front of communes and towns to mobilize all classes of people to participate in maintaining security and order, protecting the environment, planting trees and flowers to decorate sidewalks and streets, strengthening the organization of mobilization, assigning households and each neighborhood to take care of and preserve trees planted in front of houses, sidewalks, alleys, parksand.

Since the beginning of the year, the Fatherland Front of communes and towns in the district has actively organized many activities to maintain hygiene and build street scenes. The main results are green, clean and beautiful rural roads, bringing beauty and healthy living environment to people; at the same time, contributing to the protection of the environment against the harmful effects of climate change.
