According to provincial Department of Planning and Investment, FDI capital into the province reached nearly US$ 440 million in the first three months of 2023, or 120% compared to the same period last year.
It is known that FDI capital outside the local industrial parks (Ips) increased sharply, due to the fact that real estate business was a field attracting a lot of attention from foreign investors. Particularly, there were 4 new investment projects with total investment capital of US$ 15.8 million, 6 projects adjusted to increase capital with total investment capital of US$ 23.67 million, 17 projects registering to contribute capital, buy shares with total investment capital of US$ 358.9 million. The total registered capital outside the local IPs was US$ 398.4 million, accounting for 91% of the total FDI capital in the province.
In the local IPs, there were 8 new investment projects with total investment capital of US$ 17.15 million; 10 projects registering to contribute capital and buy shares with a total value of capital contribution of US$22.1 million. The total registered capital was US$ 39.3 million, accounting for 9% of the total foreign investment capital in the province.
