FDI attraction reaches nearly US$ 2.5 billion

The province attracted more than US$417 million in FDI capital from November 16 to December 15, 2021, according to provincial Department of Planning and Investment. Particularly, there were 7 newly-licensed projects with a total registered capital of more than US$ 11.6 million; 2 capital increasing projects with more than US$ 1 million, 6 projects with capital contribution valued at nearly US$ 405 million.

As of December 15, the province absorbed nearly US$ 2.5 billion, up 127% over the same period. Thus, the province has so far lured 4,019 investment projects from 65 countries and territories with a total registered capital of more than US$ 37 billion, ranking second nationwide in FDI attraction (after Ho Chi Minh city).
