FDI capital focuses on processing and manufacturing industry

According to a report by provincial Department of Planning and Investment, as of September 15, 2022, the province has attracted over US$43 million, including US$38.1 million from 6 new projects, US$700,000 from 1 capital increasing project, US$4.2 million from 15 projects with contributed capital. Since early this year, the province has attracted over US$2.6 billion (up 174% over the same period), comprising of US$1.86 billion from 54 new investment projects, US$ 17.5 million from 14 capital increasing projects and US$ 734.3 million from 134 projects with contributed capital. As of now, the whole province has had a total of 4,069 FDI projects with total capital of over US$39.6 billion.

Foreign investors have continued focusing on processing and manufacturing industry. Among the 54 new FDI projects, there are 39 projects in the processing and manufacturing industry with total capital of over US$1.5 billion, accounting for 82.3% of the total registered foreign investment capital in the province.
