Female voters propose many ideas related to public healthcare and education

On October 7, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union to hold a conference for Provincial People's Council delegates to listen to opinions of female voters in 2024. The conference was attended Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Commission; Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial Women's Union and departments and branches in the province.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Loc said that this was the first time in the 2021-2026 tenure that the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council organized a thematic meeting with voters who are officials and members of Women's Union with the topic "Binh Duong female voters with cultural and social issues". The conference is an opportunity for female officials and members of the Women's Union to express their thoughts and aspirations; an opportunity for delegates of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of provincial departments, branches to listen, share, answer and participate in solving pressing issues as well as proposals and recommendations. Thereby, promptly detecting difficulties and problems at the grassroots level to direct handling, resolution and supplement and adjust inappropriate policies, regulations...

At the conference, female officials and members proposed some ideas and recommendations related to healthcare and education. Leaders of the Provincial People's Council, departments and branches also discussed and answered voters' opinions and recommendations. On this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union presented 38 gifts worth nearly 50 million VND to female members having difficult circumstances.
