Festival for outstanding families held

Ben Cat town has organized a festival for outstanding cultural-sports families in response to Vietnam Family Day (June 28) under the theme of “Meal of love”, The festival absorbed 24 outstanding families with test parts: self-introduction, aptitude, sports and cuisine. Finally, the organizers awarded first prize to Hoa Loi ward. Second and third prizes went to Tan Dinh ward and Phu An commune. Besides, the organizers presented first, second, third and consolidation prizes to outstanding individuals in each test part.
*On June 6, Ben Cat town’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) in collaboration with My Phuoc swimming pool organized a class on swimming free of charge for more than 70 disadvantaged children.
This is the fifth consecutive year the town’s DoLISA has worked with My Phuoc swimming pool to open such classes, contributing to taking care of the local children, especially those with difficult circumstances
