Final round of contest “Students with startup ideas” held

On October 21, Thu Dau Mot University in collaboration with the Southern National Startup Advisory and Support Council and the Business Forum Magazine held the final round of the contest “Students with startup ideas- TEC2022”.

Five groups of contestants participated in the final round, including: COP - Career Orientation Program; activated soap recycled from bagasse and used cooking oil; online lodging hiring model for students; L-Ros herbal candy; T&V smart garbage robot. They displayed their products and services; gave presentation and answered questions from the jury. With an innovative idea, capable of developing successful products and being received by the market, the project "FAE - Student Lodging Facility" won the first prize.

The contest was launched from May 2022, attracting more than 60 projects registering to participate in many fields, such as: Engineering technology, information technology, tourism, education, biotechnology, environment-science, economics...It contributed to spreading the creative spirit and passion for startup among students.
