Financial program supporting Covid-19 infected frontline forces launched

Following the call of Binh Duong provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations, mass organizations and the provincial Red Cross have received the attention and sharing of the community. Businesses and benefactors inside and outside of the province including AIA Insurance Company have agreed to a financial supporting program for frontline forces infected with Covid-19 (F0).

The program will be implemented from July 1 to December 31, 2021. In order to implement the program and promptly support the frontline forces who are participating in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in the province, on July 29, the Standing Board of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee issued a document to implement and guide relevant agencies and units on this program. Accordingly, the subjects supported by this program include medical staffs, doctors, nurses, aides, technicians, pharmacists, administrative staffs, service staffs, ambulance drivers, security guards and volunteers.

These subjects are working at hospitals, medical facilities, testing facilities, and field hospitals participating in testing, diagnosis and treatment of Covid-19 epidemic; at the same time, they must have direct labor contracts with such hospitals, medical facilities, testing facilities, and field hospitals.

Volunteers need written confirmation from the hospitals, medical facilities, testing facilities, and field hospitals where they work to earn the financial support of up to VND 10 million on being positive for SARSCoV-2. For the case of deaths, the AIA pays up to VND 100 million for each healthcare worker who dies during the availability of the program due to infection with the SARS-CoV-2. The Standing Board of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committe requested the relevant agencies and units to quickly coordinate the implementation of this supporting program among the union members, members and employees of the agencies or organizations and make a list of earning subjects with dossiers to be sent to the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee before 11 a.m. every Friday for summarization and submission to AIA Insurance Company for consideration and decision.
