Find solutions for sustainable agricultural development in Phu Giao district

On September 12, Phu Giao District People's Committee coordinated with Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Science and Technology, scientific research units and relevant agencies to hold a workshop on developing the agricultural sector of Phu Giao district towards high-tech agricultural production combined with ecotourism development in the period 2023-2025, with an orientation to 2030.

The workshop contributes to the successful and effective implementation of the National Target Program on building new rural areas, the goals of the District Party Committee Resolution for the 2020-2025 term, and Plan No. 97-KH/HU of the District Party Committee on implementation of Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW of the 13th Party Central Committee on agriculture, farmers and rural areas until 2030, with a vision to 2045. At the workshop, scientists and agricultural research experts from institutes and universities made presentations on issues, such as: agricultural development solutions combined with OCOP product branding; digital transformation and sustainable connection for the agricultural industry; current trends in science and technology application and agricultural development and some suggestions for agriculture in Phu Giao district; current status and solutions for developing ecotourism in Phu Giao district; circular economic solutions in the district; high-tech agricultural development in Binh Duong province, solutions for sustainable agricultural development in the coming time...

Many delegates participated in the discussion and shared experiences and difficulties; and made recommendations on access to policies, capital, and land in developing agricultural production applying high technology associated with ecotourism in the district. Scientists and district leaders answered questions of cooperative groups, cooperatives, and agricultural production establishments, and suggested solutions for Phu Giao district's agriculture to develop in a sustainable direction in the future…
