Fire precaution of nearly 100 facilities in Tan Uyen town checked

In order to ensure the inspection and management of facilities that are at risk of fire and explosion, the provincial Police have implemented the inspection of fire safety and rescue in Tan Uyen town. Accordingly, the Director of the provincial Police directed the Tan Uyen town Police to make a list and develop a plan to inspect fire safety in the area under their management. The provincial Police Division of Fire Prevention and Rescue shall appoint officers to coordinate with local forces to inspect and handle violations on fire prevention and fighting; temporarily suspending or suspending operations or proposing or recommending to competent authorities to temporarily suspend or suspend operations according to their competence in cases of violations specified in Article 17 of Decree No. 136/2020/NDCP of the government.

As a result, from February 13 to February 28, 2023, the Police of Tan Uyen town coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police to inspect 98 facilities under the management of fire prevention in the area. After the inspection, 93 minutes of administrative sanctions were made with 135 recommendations on fire safety. The total amount of fines was nearly VND 5.7 billion.
