First phase of new Dong Nai bridge project inaugurated

 

The first phase of the new Dong Nai bridge project was inaugurated on the morning of Dec.30 (photo).

The construction of the new Dong Nai bridge commenced on July 6, 2008 with a total investment of over VND 1.8 trillion under the BOT (Build – Operate – Transfer) form. The main contractor is the No.1 Construction Corporation. The new bridge is over 461m long and 20m wide and has five lanes.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai hailed the efforts of the investor, contractors and local authorities and urged them to quickly complete the remaining items of the project.
