Fiscal space and neo momentum created for enterprises

Update: 11-10-2024 | 14:36:42

With the formation of concentrated information technology zones, scientific and technological industrial parks strive to become the center of innovation and creativity of the key economic region in the South. It is expected that Binh Duong will become an attractive destination for high-tech enterprises.

Neo foundation to strive

Mr. Nguyen Khac Lich, Director of the Department of Information Technology and Communication (Ministry of Information and Communication), said that the department has coordinated with the Department of Information and Communication to implement additional directions for the development of information technology parks, focusing on the planning of information and communication infrastructure in the region, in accordance with the Provincial Planning of Binh Duong for 2021-2030, with a vision until 2050 (referred to as the provincial Planning). “The deployment of the concentrated information technology zone in Binh Duong is feasible and has sufficient legal basis. To achieve high efficiency, the concentrated information technology zone project needs to ensure compliance with sector planning and provincial planning. The project needs clean land fund, strategic investors, and high determination of local leaders in long-term and sustainable investment,” said Mr. Nguyen Khac Lich.

The provincial planning expands the development space for Binh Duong province and creates many opportunities for business investment

According to the evaluation, Provincial Planning meets the needs of investors well. Specifically, Provincial Planning clearly outlines the development direction, attracting investment in various fields; fully integrating projects, sectors, locations, areas, capital requirements... Therefore, businesses can learn about the areas they are interested in to choose suitable investments. The province's viewpoint is to select projects that apply high technology, are environmentally friendly, require less labor, and create high added value. Binh Duong encourages businesses to implement green and circular projects to adapt to climate change and ensure reaching net zero by 2050, in line with Vietnam's commitment to the world.

Many businesses expect that the provincial planning will create favorable conditions for them to quickly implement procedures for infrastructure construction and soon have secondary land for lease. Currently, many high-tech businesses want to invest in Binh Duong, so the rapid implementation of industrial park infrastructure will attract many large investors. In addition, many investors are studying the provincial planning carefully, planning to invest more in the service sector.

Additional enterprise encouragement

In our conversation, Mr. Dongkun Oh, CEO of Becamex Tokyu Co., Ltd., affirmed: "We are constantly researching new transportation systems to minimize environmental impact, such as promoting the transition of urban bus transportation methods, researching and testing autonomous electric vehicles. We are also testing a zero-emission circular economy at our commercial facilities. In addition, we have implemented energy-saving air conditioning systems at our shopping centers with funding from the Japanese government. Therefore, we are researching and implementing various sustainable development programs to protect the environment. I believe that these efforts are becoming models of success.” Mr. Vuong Sieu Tin, Vice Chairman of the Binh Duong Ceramic Association, said that many ceramic businesses are forced to relocate or convert their functions to avoid environmental pollution, so they are very concerned about the planning of areas for this industry. The detailed announcement of the planning will help businesses grasp and implement it effectively.

The provincial People's Committee said it will widely and specifically announce the provincial planning for businesses and residents to clearly understand. At the same time, Binh Duong continues to reform administrative procedures, creating a favorable investment environment for businesses to quickly implement projects, put them into operation early, and contribute to the local socio-economic development.
