Focus on the effectiveness of administrative reform in residence registration and management

On April 3, a special survey team of Provincial People's Council's Legal Board led by Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, Head of the Legal Board, worked with Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order (PC06) of Provincial Police and some local police forces at district level about administrative procedure reform in residence registration and management in the province. Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Mai summarized survey results on administrative procedure reform in residence registration and management at some commune-level police offices in the province at the end of March; emphasized the use of social networks by commune-level police forces to propagate, disseminate information in residential areas and boarding houses in accordance with the current strong digital transformation. Mai also raised some problems related to temporary residence registration for cases of legally guaranteed housing; housing cases that do not have documents proving legal residence...

Speaking at the meeting, Phuong asked relevant units to connect and reuse data in reforming administrative procedures on registration and residence management. Representatives of Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order (PC06) of Provincial Police, Tan Uyen City Police, Thu Dau Mot City Police, and Di An City Police expressed their opinions about issues that need to be clarified in order to ensure consistency and continue to improve the effectiveness of administrative procedure reform in residence registration and management in the province.

Concluding the meeting, Mai thanked all comments and suggestions and will submit to competent authorities for consideration and resolution.
