Focusing on excelling goals and tasks of 2011

Reportedly, the local socio-economic situation showed remarkable changes in the first half of this year with efficiency of inflation control, macro-economic stability and social welfare.

Specifically, the locality reached VND52tril in industrial production, a 17.5% increase from 2010, over US$4bil in export turnover, a 19.5% rise from last year, VND11tril in budget collection and so on.

The local People’s Committee set out 16 key tasks in the remaining months of 2011 and asked relevant agencies to conduct resolutions of local party committee, People’s Council and Government.

The provincial chairman Le Thanh Cung said that based on the done results, it is believed that many local goals of socio-economic development, national defense will complete and exceed proposed plans. He also noted that localities should improve shortcomings to excel goals and tasks of 2011.
