On the morning of April 1, Binh Duong provincial Department of Health, serving as the standing body of provincial Food Safety Steering Committee, convened a conference to gather feedback on the execution of the plan titled "Month of Action for Food Safety in 2025." Consequently, the Month of Action will take place from April 15 to May 15, 2025, throughout the province, with the theme: "Ensuring Food Safety, Emphasizing Food Safety in Collective Kitchens, Catering Services, and Street Food."

To successfully execute the Food Safety Action Month, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Food Safety Steering Committee has urged the People's Committees at all levels to prioritize the direction, organization of human resources, and enhancement of coordination among functional agencies and socio-political organizations to ensure food safety and hygiene.

During this period, the provincial Food Safety Steering Committee will assemble interdisciplinary and specialized inspection teams to evaluate food production and trading establishments for compliance with legal documents pertaining to food safety, extending from the provincial level to communes, wards, and towns. Should any establishments be found in violation of food safety regulations during the inspection process, they will face stringent consequences.
