Football tournament in celebration of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21) kicks off

Early June 9, a four-team football tournament was held in Thuan An city to celebrate the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2024).

The four teams participating in the tournament were from provincial Department of Information and Communications, Department of Health, Thuan An city’s People's Committee and province-based Correspondents Association. Finally, the Thuan An city People's Committee team won the championship. The second prize went to province-based Correspondents Association team while the remaining two teams shared the third place.

Nguyen Thanh Uy, Vice Chairman of Thuan An city’s People's Committee stated that the organization of the football tournament aimed at improving health, strengthening relationships between departments and agencies of Thuan An city, Binh Duong province, media and press agencies.
